The year was 1999, and Air Jordan debuted their Oreo 4 to the public. All was well in the sneaker world. 16 years later, Jordan has finally decided to retro and remaster the Air Jordan 4 “Oreo”. As well all know, Jordan has decided to give their shoes the “remastered” treatment beginning in 2015. Meaning that they will be using finer materials to improve the overall quality of the entire shoe. Their main focus is to try to mimic the quality of their retros to that of the OG’s.
With that being said, the Air Jordan 4 “Oreo”, aka the Jordan 4 “Tech Grey” is said to contain finer materials that make up the whole shoe. Right away you can notice the upper covered in premium black tumbled leather, with well placed hits of “Tech Grey”, or “Oreo” in the eyelets, jumpman and midsole.
The shoe hit retailers yesterday, with a retail price of $190. Were you able to grab a pair? If you did, let us know if the 16 years was worth the wait.
